A New Week! Yipeee!

Sometimes it's just easier to declare a do-over. I feel like I've been doing that a whole lot lately, and I know, I know- I'm going to work on that. I'm going to be a better planner when things go awry!!

But boy am I glad that Saturday is the start of a new week! I've got plans to hit up the farmer's market early in the morning before it gets to inundated with screaming kids on leashes and overzealous soccer moms. I really really hope my favorite "Green Bean Guy" is back this year. He's a grumpy old man farmer with the best green beans I've ever tasted. I cook them with a few baby red potatoes (that he also grows) and a little olive oil. Man, what a delicious treat! I also want squash and zucchini to make veggie quesadillas with some FlatOut Wraps and then of course, I'm way overdue for a post-gym Tofu Salad from my beloved Lilly's Pizza. I don't know what I'm going to do when I move away. I propose monthly shopping and Lilly's trips back into town!

I also have to get a Father's Day gift tomorrow. Fortunately, I know exactly what I'm going to get, so between 7am and time to go to work I need a trip to the farmer's market, grocery store, mall, gym, post office and Lilly's. I can DO IT! Work last night was a little annoying. I'm totally ready for a new job. I keep dreaming of a job where I can chuck the scrubs and wear cute "business casual" again. It's been nice wearing what are essentially pajamas to work, but let's face it, they do nothing for your figure, and they certainly don't help you be aware of your weight with their elastic and drawstrings! I want to be pretty for work again!

I'm exhausted and brain dead, but expect some good posts from me in the next couple of weeks, as I will be staying at home and catching up on doctor appointments and things around the house. Also, I'll be intensifying my job search and sprucing up my CV and resume. I'd really rather take a break from working full-time in a hospital, but if that's what I have to do for a while, of course I'll be fine. There will ALWAYS be nursing jobs in the hospital.

Okay, off to rest up and brainstorm on ideas for food and exercise for the upcoming two weeks. Looking forward to a stable home life over the next 14 or so days, which makes eating right and workout out oh so effortlessly!
