ARGHHH!!

S0, yesterday in terms of food kind of went by the wayside. Not in an entirely unhealthy fashion- just had too many handfuls of trail mix and pretzel thins in lieu of dinner. Not smart, and way over points. Not to mention I was then starving after the gym and had a bowl of cereal. I feel gross. Bring on the extra water today! I did burn 748 calories at the gym last night, so it wasn't all for nothing. At LEAST I didn't just give up and skip the gym and continue to eat all night. Today is exactly 6 months until my 30th birthday. I have to start ripping it up here. The plan for today is to get my house clean, hit the gym for kickboxing this evening, swing by the mall for my facial cleanser and moisturizer from Clinique, and wait for my honey to arrive in town. I bought a fabulous new bra yesterday that makes my boobs look ah-ma-zing. Pair that with some Spanx and a cute dress and BAM!! I bought a maxi dress that are all the rage for the summer. I was concerned that short people can't wear them (I'm 5'3"), but I found one that I think looks really cute. It is from the Gap Outlet, and it is navy blue cotton with little multi-colored embroidered flowers on the neckline and hemline. It really has a bohemian look, which I love. I want to wear it tonight, but I also want to save it for a "special" occasion. Ahem, such as engagement day- but since I have no clue when that may happen, I guess I should just wear it whenever I feel like it, huh?

Yesterday I wore a stretchy cotton dress from the Banana Republic Outlet that is a size medium. I took a crappy pic of myself in it (not too good at the mirror/camera shots of myself, plus my only full length mirror is antique and has little flower designs on it, so it's hard to get a clear picture). I thought the dress looked pretty cute, despite my glaring white legs. Despite how ghostly I look, I vow to give up tanning in a tanning salon for good. I am going to get a Mystic Tan just before vacation and then really try not to overdo the sun this summer. My mom doesn't look nearly her age and not only does it have to do with good genes, but also she stays outta the sun! Here's the pic so you get the gist:























That's about all I've got for today. Have to get to work on cleaning! Just spent nearly 2 hours disconnecting my Time Warner Cable (THEY SUCK!) and re-ordering DirectTV and AT&T internet. I'm sure the internet part will kind of suck in comparison to Time Warner's internet, but it will be well worth it to be rid of those douchebags!
