I overslept on Saturday and missed all opportunity for a meeting this week. I did weigh myself AFTER lunch on Saturday and was up about 3 pounds. I'm not putting a lot of stock into it, and I'm just moving on.
It was VERY hard to stay on track this week. I could rattle off a bunch of excuses here, but the bottom line is, my resolve is not strong when I don't hold all the cards in my hands. But my wonderful fiance Dave has helped me to realize today that if I keep going like this, I'll be so mad I can't stand myself. So, I'm busy working on a food and exercise plan for this week so that I can keep up with my losing streak.
I work on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. All 12-hour shifts. So, I know that I'll eat breakfast in the wee hours of the morning. May have time for a snack in the mid-morning, but most likely won't have time for anything until after noon. I know I'll need a snack before I leave work so that I don't go home and eat everything in sight. The rest of the days I'll be planning to use the freezer full of stuff that Dave's parents brought to us when they were here last week. Most of it is very basic: pork tenderloin, rice pilaf, broccoli soup, corn, etc. I think I can work some other things in to make some healthy, well-rounded, points-friendly meals. And Tuesday night, I made plans to meet some people for a girls' night. I know the place we are going to is a wings place, but apparently has White Chicken Chili, which I'm thinking will be very filling, and I can have that and a beer for 8 points or so. I've GOT to get back on track for wedding dress shopping. I was planning on looking during Thanksgiving, but I'll have to try on stuff that's like a size 18. Wedding dress sizing can make you want to shoot yourself! I can't dick around and not have enough time to get my dress ordered and altered by the time of the wedding.
I think I'll sign up for a gym here this week too. I need to find one with good classes. I've heard a lot of good things about BodyPump, BodyAttack, BodyCombat, BodyJam, etc, etc. The Gold's Gym down the road has all of those, and with my employee discount, it's $19.99 a month. Plus if we move to the other side of town, I can transfer gyms. Ahh, the joys of living in a small town.
My house is STILL not rented, and it's so annoying. It's so hard being out of town too, because I don't really feel like I have any control. If no one has rented it by the end of the month, I'm going to have to find different representation. I hope this all gets sorted out soon...
