It's time to make some changes to my normal routine. For a while now, I'd been emailing my journals to a core group of friends via email, some of them doing Weight Watchers, and others are former Weight Watchers either looking to start back up soon or maintaining. Well folks, this has gotten very tedious as of late. Basically, I track all my stuff on Weight Watchers Online throughout the day, and then every evening I copy and paste it into an email. It doesn't sound that hard, sure. But it FEELS like work. And quite honestly, it's not helping me to become better.
As one of my email friends pointed out, we all as individuals know what to do to be successful. If the emailing journals isn't helping change my behavior, maybe it's best tackled on my own for a while. They of course will still be available for much-needed advice and feedback, but I'm no longer emailing my journals on a daily basis. Instead, I'm embarking on my own personal challenge.
I'm challenging myself to be completely on the program 100% for 100 days. That's right. 100 days of tracking everything that goes into my body, tracking exercise, tracking water intake, veggie intake, getting my oils, etc. If today is Day 1, I'll be wrapping up my 100 days on October 20th, just 4 short days from my thirtieth birthday. Brilliant, I say! Bring it on!
And I need to be honest here. My points reset on Saturdays and as of today I'm 5.5 points OVER my WPA. But I've graciously tracked everything even though the last few days have been messy. I need to accept that the majority of my WPA will probably be spent over the three nights that I am at work. And that's totally okay. And I know I'll be working out Tues-Fri of this week to earn Activity Points, which will then, if not eaten, make up for my points deficit that I am carrying right now.
Today is the start of an amazing challenge. If I can get to 100 days on program, I'll be thrilled with myself. And right before my big day makes it even more perfect. I'll be on day 100 knowing I did everything I could leading up to my birthday to look FABULOUS! Hear, hear!
