I was down 1.4 pounds yesterday and I even worked out before I hit the malls to do my Christmas shopping. In the past, I would have said "Ehh, I'll work out when I get home." And then I'd get home after 6-7 solid hours of shopping and I wouldn't work out. So, there's something!
So, I did Jillian's 30-day Shred, and even though it's hard as hell. I'm on day #4 (I don't do it every day) an my endurance is getting better, but I was having killer shin splints. So, I'm taking a break from Shred for a while. Probably won't do it again until Tues or so. Maybe I'll take a break from it all week. I'll do the gym today, probably something light like Wii Fit tomorrow after work, then Monday I'll do something light again. Tuesday I may or may not work out since I'll have to sleep during the day and then hit the road to D's house. Wednesday and Thursday I can workout in D's gym. We'll see how it goes. Running on the treadmill really hurt this past Thursday, so today I'm likely just to be doing the elliptical. Taking a break from the impact exercises for a while. The ol' shins DO feel a lot better today, but still a touch sore, so I'll keep resting them as to keep from sidelining myself for a potentially long time.
I woke up with a sinus headache today and immediately noticed that all I wanted to do was to eat. I was able to reel it in pretty quickly, but man, it is hard when you don't feel good! I should get to the gym before I run out of time. Still have to shower for work and cook my tofu stirfry tonight too!
