VICTORY!

I did it! I did it! I did it!

I stayed 100% OP at work last night!!!!!!!

I DID WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THE IMPOSSIBLE.

Granted, I said a little prayer before going into work that no one would bring candy, pizza, doughnuts, cookies, bagels, or any other tempting item for the next few times that I work until I can gain some control. I had dinner around 5pm which consisted of a very filling serving of slow cooker lasagna, a garlic breadstick and some apple cranberry crisp. This was hugely filling, as I didn't even need my evening snack that I'd brought. I was so busy I barely had time to get in two more bottles of water before midnight when my points reset. So, here's the breakdown from there:

12:00- Apple, Polly-O 2% String Cheese
2:00- Salad w/ spinach, goat cheese and cranberries w/ raspberry walnut vinagrette
4:00- Cottage Cheese
6:00- Cream of Wheat, Skim Milk
7:00- 3 unplanned pieces of hard candy. But it could have been SO much worse than a piddly 1 point splurge....and I felt so in control when I left this morning.

I came straight in the door at home, took my allergy meds and charged upstairs to wash my face, brush my teeth and hit the sack! As a result, I am awake several hours before I have to go back in to work, so I'm getting ready to hop on the Wii Fit for a while. I was surprised to see that with my HRM, I burned 400+ calories in just over an hour yesterday. My shoulder is kind of sore from a combo of yoga and Wii Boxing, so I'll have to take it easy today!

Anyway, just tooting my own horn a little for staying in CONTROL (my new favorite word) while at work ALL NIGHT!! I ROCK!!

Off to plan tonight's snacks!

I love that feeling of success.... no matter what the victory is, the point is, that you managed to do something you were fearing, thinking would be hard, so congratulations. That is awesome.... that is a huge victory.
