I tried a meeting in my new town this morning and ironically enough, it's next door to a bridal shop! Talk about an anchor (is that the right Tool for Living?)! Anyway, as expected, I was up a little- 2.6 pounds to be exact. Not that I want to keep making excuses, but I kind of looked at this meeting as a fresh start anyway, and had sushi last night, complete with loads of soy sauce which always makes me retain water. I did drink a ton of water to balance it out, but I haven't scale-hopped in a couple of weeks, so I have no idea if it set me off. My clothes feel fine, and I was wearing my skinny jeans all day on Friday (not actual skinny jeans, mind you) and they were fine.
So who knows? All I know is that my fiance is on board with me and I bought a three month journal today at my meeting. I think it's the best way to be able to go back and look at good weeks versus bad weeks and is a great resource for meal ideas when you get bored. I bought a calendar for our fridge in the new place as well. I told Dave that I NEED him to be better about letting me know his work schedule in advance (he doesn't work 9-5 either, just like me), so that I can plan for which nights I will be on my own, versus which nights I'll need to come up with something points friendly but yummy to him too. He's not into tofu, or garlic, or tons of veggies, so it will be nice to know which nights I'll be able to indulge in those things! As soon as he got home from work last night he wrote his schedule on the calendar and updated it with important upcoming events, as did I. It makes our crazy schedules mesh SO much better! I can already tell it's going to make a huge difference. Next step, is getting him to make his trash make it all the way into the trash can and not just to the bar, or the kitchen counter! But I'll take baby steps so he doesn't kill me in the process! Living together is going to be interesting!
